Might be a bug in the system, if you contact the Tech team HERE, they will be able to help you, failing that you can use the Contact Us feature at the bottom of the screen.

I hope that helps.

Hi  members in Corfu.

My husband and I migrated to Australia from South Africa in late 2000. Lived regionally and operated our own business in Australia for 16 years. Our children have finished studying and are now travelling the world which makes us empty nesters. Still fit and healthy and want to experience a different culture and lifestyle. Have earmarked Corfu as our next destination.

Would like to hear from anyone who has moved to Corfu who is a Non EU Citizen. We have lots of questions. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hola guys,

Hi All,

It's Hu from China.

First, let me thank the expat team for inviting me onboard via a welcome email.

Here is my plan. I'm retiring and thinking about buying property in Greece to get a Golden Visa, with which I can visit the other Schengen countries freely.

I have a mother-in-law to attend to at home and other places to see so I most likely won't stay in Greece longer than half a year.

For this reason I think an apartment in the enter of Athens might be a good idea.

I've read many posts by forum members and I really appreciate their efforts to share experiences with and give advice to new comers. I definitely will need their insight.

By the way, I've never been to Greece.
Hello to all,

I am Mei and together with my husband Jort and dog Fin we are planning to travel to Greece in the winter and consider whether to stay long term there. The area we are interested in is Peloponesse and so if anyone out there would like to connect and give some useful tips, it would be much appreciated. We will drive down from The Netherlands.
You will certainly love the Peloponese area of Greece,it has a wonderful micro- climate, its very beautiful and there is talk of extending the new train line down to Patra. There is an area down south which has ancient petrified trees which I would love to see.
Thanks for the tip. We are meanwhile reading a lot of blogs of people who have over wintered in Peloponnese and they seem to enjoy themselves inspite of rainy weather. Getting excited.
Thanks - looking forward to move to greece TO LIVE AND WORK UNDER:
1) RULE OF LAW
2) FREEDOM OF SPEECH
3) HUMAN RIGHTS
