DOCUMENTARY IN BERLIN

Czarina May Magtangob

Greetings from GMA Network!

I'm Czarina, a Program Researcher for GMA7. I work for Reel Time (GMA News TV). I am currently looking for stories I can do for the show. It's a documentary longer than the usual as it takes 45 minutes of airing every Sunday, 8:45PM (Philippine time). Our producer int eh show will have a vacation in Berlin, but she figures, not much is known about Berlin (in the Philippines), and Germany, and Pinoys in that country---so maybe it will be nice to do a story there.

Our documentaries are very case study-centric, so I was wondering if we have a Pinoy, a personality we can follow around. maybe an ARTIST struggling to make it big in Berlin? I'm sorry if I'm just shooting up at the stars here, I have to admit I'm totally blank as to what Filipinos do and can do in Berlin--meaning what are the usual jobs of the Pinoys there or why most of them do there. Is there any UPCOMING EVENT that concerns Pinoys this September? Or do we have a Pinoy youth activity/issue/subculture that we can follow around as well? Any problems, any misinformation, stories of inspiration, or anything like that?

Shocks, very sorry if I'm bombarding you with questions! Please please be patient with me!

We are excited to do a documentary there. Hopefully, all goes well ;) What do you think?

Best regards,
