Short Return Trip to UK

Hello all,

I plan to go to UK for some personal work on 4th December and return back to Belgium on 6th December. My airline tickets have been booked too.

My question is, since Belgium is not ok the exempt countries list for quarantine in UK, will I be allowed to travel back to Belgium on the 6th with just two days (self isolated) stay in the UK? Or is the 14 day quarantine mandatory even though my return is planned within two days?

Ofcourse I will be staying at the same address as my Passenger Locator Form.

Looking forward to hearing some answers.

Hi again.

The quarantine rules state "If you’re travelling to the UK for less than 14 days, you will be expected to self-isolate for the length of your stay, but you can travel directly to your place of departure." You can read the whole thing on the UK Gov website; this link will take you straight there.

You plan to fly to the UK on 4 December.
1. We have 4 nations in UK.
Is England your arrival/landing point ?
Mauritius is on the exempt list for England. So No Need to self-isolate if you have spent the last 14 days in Mauritius. (Updated on 26 November.)
Please keep checking if Mauritius will still be on the Exempt list !
However, you still need to fill in your Passenger Locator Form before entering UK. (England)
Lockdowns in England will end on 2 December.

You are leaving for Belgium on 6 December -
