Tax on UK pension

Hi, I will be moving to Denmark and am trying to find out how much tax I will pay on my UK state pension. AI says I will pay 37% tax on everything (after fradrag), no matter where it comes from. Other searches have said that my UK state pension is not taxed in Denmark... anyone know which is true, or who I should ask?

UK and Denmark have agreed on a antidouble tax treaty, however, this requires including the amount on your tax return along with some other details.

You shall ask SKAT itself: https://skat.dk/en-us/contact-us/indivi … me-matters

AI does have some uses, but very often it gets things completely wrong. Under the UK-Denmark Double Taxation Convention, your UK State Pension is taxable only in the UK if you are a resident and national of the UK. However, if you become a tax resident of Denmark, standard residency rules and tax treaties mean that ordinary (non-government) pensions are typically taxable in your country of residence (Denmark), with relief provided to prevent double taxation.
