Cross-Border Gift to Son that is USA citizen but Danish resident

I have a son who is a U.S. citizen but currently resides in Denmark. I know that each parent can donate 80 000 krone each year with no taxes.

I would like to gift him more that that allowance to so he can re-pay part  off his apartment loan. Could somebody let me know who to contact related to this question and is there a way to gift more without triggering addition  15% tax?

For context, my wife and I are U.S. citizens residing in USA.

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.
