Property Rental Enquiry

stevebillo1

Hello There

My Wife and I are looking to rent a suitable property in Peyia for one month starting around the 7th March 2025, we currently live in England, but are very seriously considering moving to Cyprus on the Pink Slip basis, we intend to come over initially for one month to live as residents "not holiday makers" so that we can explore the area, open a Cypriot bank account, speak to a Solicitor and generally research everything we need to know regarding relocation and a possible new life in Cyprus, If the Initial month goes well and we decide to apply for the Pink Slips, we will then be looking for a long term rental for one year, can anybody help us find reputable property rental company's that we could contact to get the ball rolling

Thanks Steve

I'm not sure agents are much interested in one month rentals. For 30-60 days, it's probably a lot easier to use Booking or Airbnb and make one longer booking, or a couple of shorter ones so you can experience different districts (e.g. Paphos, Limassol, Larnaca). Good luck with the potential move, Cyprus is a delightful little island!

I agree with gwynj on this one. Better to do short stays in each of the areas you wish to explore.....  I would also suggest you visit the proposed areas morning noon and night as the dynamics change.. hunters, dogs, school runs, early morning workers and farmers daily routines.

Or see if you can get a cheap winter deal in a hotel....

Or another option to explore if you don't mind house-sitting and/or pet sitting try the Facebook "Ask Anything" groups and pages for specific areas Peyia and  Paphos

Gwyn & Toon, Thanks for the speedy replies and Info Gents, we have had about 12 hols in Cyprus over the years and have loved every one of them, so fancy having a go at making it our home, Peyia is where we believe we would like to settle, then our intention is to buy a car so we can explore the different areas.

Cheers Steve
