Hi all.

New member and a first post from me. I am currently in the process of buying a house in ostrov bg  and I wondered if anyone was familiar with the area. Also I was wanting to no how long the checks usually take by a solicitor to ensure the property you are buying matches that of the property on the notary deed.  Thanks in and advance!

How did you get on with your purchase in Ostrov. The Danube looks lovely, is there any other ex pats in that village, and is it a safe area? I hear in a few areas of people being broken into and their houses being stripped when there are away from them  i really hope that everything has gone well for you.
