Hi, I am Bulgarian living mostly abroad. And I have a dream - to find someone who would renovate the village house built by my grandfather and live in it, so that it stands and lasts. It pains me so much to see it slowly fading away. I no longer own the house and the new owner is not doing much. I will buy it back for any foreigner who is willing to maintain the property. Against the opportunity for me to visit once in a blue moon. Details upon request. Cheers to all members!

After more than 15 years living in Germany, and being Swiss, we moved with our family to Sofia in summer 2022. It was a carefully evaluated decision for good reasons: the country(side), its landscape, food & wine, economic, financial, taxation and regulation (freedom). That lead to our foundation of NomadTax Bulgaria Ltd. to help other global entrepreneurs, digital nomads and expats in their business and personal relocation to Bulgaria. Happy to meet and expand my network. Best, Christoph

Hello! I'm new to this forum, so I thought I would say hi. We are new on the Bulgaria expat train, and would love to connect with some expats in central Bulgaria. I will likely be making a property hunting trip mid December. Any folks in the Veliko Tarnovo area or in mountains south of there? Let me know!

Welcome,

If you have any questions, please start a new topic with them. The forum is pretty active, so it won't be long before someone comes along and replies.

Welcome!

You might want to rethink your upcoming trip: while it will give you an opportunity to see locations in a more unwelcoming season, with the imminent adoption of the euro many sellers are marking time in the hope of seeing prices rise in January...
