Do banks invest your money?

Hello everyone,
It is common to send money to the bank these days. There are people who deposit huge sums of money in banks. They bring money to the bank so that they can have a place to keep their money safely, while enjoying money back at the same time. Do not know if the bank brings money that you send them to invest? Or will they leave the money in place?

obviously, they all invest and trade as much as they can, no matter the country...
That's the only way for them to make money + the debt that customers/governments create while borrowing...

Paper money never stay in the """small""" bank itself. The world is getting more and more digital everyday, for better or for worse, and in this case, clearly for worse...

they can invest your money only with your consent. meaning that if you have some saving at the account , some significant amount its more likely that the bank will contact you to offer some options: either investment banking, or pension found. Or elese.,,

and if this is not the case, your money is safe. safe meaning when you want to collect it, you send out the request to your bank and its available also, it means that long term you bank is well capitalised and also its liquid to answer to your request..

looking at it in more positive light, in general you should be okay.
