Whats happening?

Ok. I'm a newbie here. Old-school reformed.. not quite hippy (back-in-the-day) and am cool still. I think so anyway...and I'm the one who actually counts.

Ok. As a 62 year old somewat non a hole with slightly blurry vision...and too lazy to hunt up the old magnifing glass....

Question. What exactly is my Avatar doing? I can't quite make him out. I thought upon selection that he is holding up a peace sign....but is he in reality giving everyone the finger...or not?
Due to my eyesite...even with my glasses...I'm not exactly sure if he is holding up one finger....or two?

Help me out...clearly-sighted ones.

Advice? Anyone know of any extremely talented tattoo ARTIST in PR? I have two small tats on my upper arms that are faded which I want covered and/or changed/expanded. I want an artist that is a true artist. ..and not just a template- copier.

That avatar is a fine example of a cross cultural potential cock up - remind me to mention it to the powers that be.

The young chap is holding up two fingers but you can't tell if his palm faces in or out. If he's English and it's facing in, that's very rude.

I assume he is great at free-lance work. I want something done that no one else has....something with a wow-factor....
Something that will perhaps draw intrest detracting the visuality of a cute but awesomely scarred-up beer belly. Lol

Absolutely correct.
The forum rules are very clear on this subject, anyone who mentions awesome tats has to post pictures of them.
That doesn't apply if you spell tats with an 'I' as that sort of thing isn't allowed on the forums.

Yes, it is in the by-laws, an obligation of anyone who has joined this forum. Aren't new members posting about tats also required to buy the beer at the next meeting?

I sincerely appreciate the coaching on what is and isn't allowed posted here.
I freely apologize for having a somewhat unconscious tendency to disregard application of what comes naturally to most....that being conscious awareness of appropriately-applied social-filtration devices in written or spoken format.

The absolutely very best thing about P.R. in my opinion is undoubtedly the quality/physical attributes of its women.....which makes an old guy feel young again.

Speaking of beer... what is the brewery situation in PR? Are there specialty brewers around? Artisan beer?

Just curious. We are in Colorado right now and specialty brews are all the rage.

And although it pains me to admit it... my husband is kind of a beer snob.

Best bar in S.J. in my opinion is La Factoria. They have or can make almost anything.

La Factoria is in Old San Juan - 148 Calle San Sebastion y San Jose. Not too touristy. Best times are post11pm. Great area. Check out the BnB's in OSJ near there also. Nice. Safe.

If u want a nice after-big bar experience leave La Factoria - go down-hill down San Jose about 4 or five doors down onvsame side of street as La Factoria..and you will find a little bar frequented by San Juaners that is cozy/charming....post enteentering go right then all the way to back and to your left you will enter a seperate tiny grotto-like old brick room that has a private bar that onlyvseats two orvthree couples.
Atmosphere is charming/ lighting is soft and subtle. The almost unknown place is extremely condusive to private romantic flirtations as prelude activity post return to accommodations. Keep knowledge of it's location secretive. Shh...
