Buying a farm and building a homestead

House Tyrell

The property is in Chiriqui in Santa Rosa. There is a small house on the property, but my plans are to build a much larger walled hacienda using earthbags, CEB block, etc. I plan to do a lot of the work myself.  any advice?

I have no first hand experience, but from what I have heard there is the Panamanian way of building things. If you expect workers to do anything different you may have a frustrating process of teaching them and not getting the results you expect. But if you are hands on and working alongside them, that should help a lot.
I love Chiriqui. Best of luck and hope it works well for you too.
