@Veedushi, many thanks for this section packed with information.

Having clicked on some of the themes (which also can be found via the Discover section on the toolbar), there is information that may need member input.

It is probably a good idea that you set up a means to channel this through 'planner' so you get collated thoughts we all can agree on. We all may have differing suggestions on what you have written so well.

Lennox we think alike. I asked it be taken down until it can be checked as.its full of errors.

I understand and you are the voice for the English members but we also have Spanish French, Italian and Portuguese expat DR forums so comments need to be coordinated.

It is a good start though done from far and the basis for edits imo.

How you get to total agreement is complex if at all possible, After all other social media have similar information which is also full of errors. Theme by theme and article by article?

Surely expat.com which is represented in countries throughout the world with a stated mission to help expats in their new home must offer this type of information?
planner
Not sure how we coordinate but clearly simply creating and posting is incorrect without checking?

I believe it is an update? I just looked at the French language site(which has 15 themes) and they have the original Guide from 2018. And there are plenty of things to edit in that!

It might be better if anyone has time to send comments to Veedusha and let her collate and edit. We have collective responsibility to help correct the errors in Discovery from the past when we find time imo.

I just ran through the first theme Formalities and have found a few edits are needed.

I don't think criticism is helpful considering this business deals with so many countries in 5 languages from Mauritius. Let's just help when we have time to get it right. godominicanrepublic tourism website doesn't provide all accurately either.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for your messages and for pointing out the errors.

We are currently working with a freelancers on series of guides, so it's kind of tricky to fact-check all the articles before publishing them.

However, we are taking your comments into account and we'll do the necessary corrections as soon as possible.

Feel free to reach out to me if you wish to help us the DR guide in the best possible way.

Have a great day!
Warm regards,
Veedushi
