You may want to rethink the idea of using the mail service here.  I am told it sometimes works but I would not count on it for anything important!

The only thing I know is that a package was sent to me via USPS (instead of using suggested courier) and 4 months later I got a strange call from the local "post office" (another surprise) that there was a package for me. I had written it off but one thing I know - I'd never be sending anything from here - unless being carried by someone flying out or by courier...

Exactly!  Simple letters may or.may not arrive.  Packages are likely to not arrive or be pilfered!

People say sending out is more reliable 10-14 days for delivery
