DR have imodium in pharmacy?

qwerty21

Imodium is the opposite of a laxative.

I just searched online after making this thread that in all likelihood the pharmacies in Dominican have imodium.

So I'm sorry for creating this thread. I'm leaving for my vacation today so I was in a bit of a rush.

Not usually needed in this country.  If you are in a resort, go to the main bar (not the beach bar) and ask for a la bomba.  Drink it straight down, the taste is terrible.  In 10 minutes you will be a new person.  It is natural and non-alcoholic.  If you are not in a resort simply take the juice from one fresh lime, add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon or more of Angostura Bitters (available in the supermarket) add  2 ounces of club soda (optional) stir gently.  That's it that's all.  May be repeated if necessary.

Cheers and enjoy the rest of your stay.
