Getting Address for new Construction

Stacy ST

Does anyone have experience getting their land/lot registered with an address?  We purchased a plot of land in an industrial area that is all new construction.  We are told the street has name, but we do not know what it is and it is not yet registered on google maps.  All the streets around us have names, but not our particular street.  The street shows up on google maps, but with no name.  We are trying to get it registered with google since it is a business and we'd like it to be found on google.

While you're working on that, can you give it a Google Maps Plus Code?

It's an alternative way to denote locations. You'd get a better explanation from google than I could give,

Good luck with that

I was able to add our home to Google Maps without an address. I believe I had to share my location with a Google Customer Service representative during a chat. They initially said they had to mail something, but when I explained that there was not only no address for the house, but also no mail service in DR.

If all you want to do is have your business found on Google Maps, simply create an account and list it on Maps.  Super easy, and a physical numerical address is irrelevant for most people.  Street signs don't exist most places and most people just follow the directions on Maps as they drive.  I would suggest making your first picture the exterior of your building so customers know they have the right place.  I also agree the Plus Code from when you drop a pin on your exact location will work just fine.  My business has no street name or number, but listing it on Maps was simple.

Same as Unclebuck, I just dropped the pin and added all other company info. A normal search via a browser will also find it. Looking at the stats the majority of interactions is via mobile google maps anyway.
