Is it still required to secure a dominican guarantor for a residence retiree Visa with the office of Migration?

not if you are going retiree visa, i chose reunification and yes it was needed but it is a formality. i submitted all the paperwork and within a week i got my jotice to go to the embassy and get my visa , oc 30th going to houston.

We did one of the retiree categories, and yes, we needed a guarantor.  Our lawyer acted as guarantor and sent us the letter to include in our residency visa package.  As I understand it, most lawyers do the same.
