Filling out the immigration e-Ticket form

wondering9

I can bug my lawyer if necessary but I'm hoping there's an easy/obvious answer to this.

I have my initial visa (the one that allows me to come to the DR and apply for residency) only. So to the question on the e-Ticket "are you a foreigner resident in the Dominican Republic"/"¿es extranjero residente en la República Dominicana?" ... I answer NO, right?

And for "permanent address in the United States," I can give my virtual-mailbox address, right? (It's the only address I will have once I leave.)

I know what seems logical to me, but I've never yet been in a country where what seemed logical to me was the final word on anything wink.png And I would hate to make a paperwork mistake at this late date. Have I got the right idea on these?

Thanks!

You are correct, no to the question.. Any American address will work. Use a friend or family it absolutely  does not matter.

@planner

Nor does the place you are staying in the Dr , pick what sounds logical to you and don’t worry about it. Print a hard copy of the e ticket  and also send it to your email.

By the way, I absolutely love that you are keeping topics and questions separate! Not only does it help you as you are gathering information, but it will be helpful for those who come after you when they are searching for answers! Kudos!! 😁

I just know how much that has helped me when reading other people's posts. Keeps the needles from getting lost in the haystack :)
