Rolling Shutters/ Security Bars

Hello everyone,

We are building a home in Costa Rica in the Guanacaste region and would like any opinions on rolling shutters or bars on windows for security.

I would prefer the rolling shutter type so that we can still enjoy our view but would be open to all suggestions.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to which companies to use?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Check with the stores in your area as these types of shutters are mainly used by them...and they would be my preference, although I do like watching the birds perch on the security bars...
