Personal protection

HOMERFROMLAWTON

Outside of America pretty much everything is considered to be a weapon and most people think only pepper spray is the only thing legal.  Well i found something that fits the law that is legal.  Here is what i found when i asked  Google is a 5 D cell flashlight legal in Costa Rica:  AI Overview

Yes, it is legal to carry a 5-cell flashlight in Costa Rica, and in fact, a flashlight is a recommended item for travelers due to potential power outages or lack of street lighting in some areas. A standard flashlight is not considered a prohibited weapon; the focus of the law is on firearms, certain knives, and items designed for stunning or immobilizing, such as tasers or stun guns.

If you get hit with a heavy flash light it will be like getting hit with a ball bat.  Just sharing.
