Shipping my ATV to CR

ACEPDX

I want to use my ATV as primary transportation when I become a Pensionado. I'll make sure it's street legal before I move but does anyone have an idea on what the import duties will be? What about licensing and insuring it? It's a 2007 Yamaha Grizzly 700cc 4x4 and has been handicap adapted for me. That's about the only thing I'll bring other than my helmets, clothing, etc.

Thanks!

Hi - your shipper should be able to tell you the cost of import duties, since it is dependent on shipping costs as well.  Good shippers will include all that, and get it to your home in CR.
They may be able to give you info (or at least where to look for the info) on licensing and insuring. (and again, shippers may take care of the first year as part of getting it to you)
