Need help register marriage in civil in costa rica

Can anyone tell me that how much time required a foriegner to register his marriage in costa rica. Married with a costa rican and apostille all documents and submited in civil registration.

Your best answer will come from an attorney/notary. All marriages are registered in the Costa Rican National Registry to which only a Notary has access to make entries and updates. If that Notary describes a long, convoluted or expensive process, it may be easier to just get married again. Since marriage in Costa Rica is a civil status, a Notary can usher you through the process which is actually quite simple.
