Moving to cayman Island

I am moving soon to cayman to take a new job around seven mile Beach. I need a shared accommodation. My observation is that cayman is very expensive probably more than in the US and UAE.

1. Any pros and cons I need to know?

2. How is the transport system? Are there public commuter busses?
