Do you live in Vietnam and have done this?

It's never a problem to share the info without a link, such as:

@pippo calò63  hi, why you can't buy motorcicle if you have not a job or similar in Vietnam?

Are you saying that it's not possible to buy and license/register a motorcycle if you are in Vietnam on a tourist visa?

Not sure how Chotot works, whenever I look for a secondhand bike I always write "cũ", old/secondhand. It seems that you don't need to do that, a different search pages come up without it.

Hello dylandemas999, and welcome to expat.com.

You can find a mix of shops and individuals selling used bikes in HCMC, here. (Link)

I limited the price of the bikes listed to 10,000,000 VND.

I'm sorry I can't give you a recommendation on any specific shop or seller. Perhaps other members can refer you to a location where they have experience.

Good luck in your search. Please let us know how everything goes for you and which bike you decide to purchase.

@gerardoalbert

Just buy used Honda, not Yamaha.  Their level of service (Yamaha Towns)  is bit sketchy. You can find text on Tigit Motorbikes site blog which Honda is way to buy.  The owner of the company also said that Yamaha offical services are mostly crap, which mirrors my own experience as Yamaha Nuovo 1 or 2  owner.  Don't go way of fellow traveler on YouTube  who paid 360USD for crappy Chinese motorbike which broke down every day! No wonder that owner of Tigit uses exclusively Honda Wave as basic scooter in their rental fleet. It rarely breaks, just change oil every 1000 km, pump tires every week and you will be fine.

It's okay. Somebody told me earlier today that I’m lazy. I almost answered him.
