Cat Scan / check up where in Ho Chi Minh / price ?

Pixie59

Hi I just found an old post about this and am hoping to get fresh recommendations please? Am in Ho Chi Minh for 13 nights in December and am keen to hear of your experience with MRI's and cost please? My abdomen is a good starting point. Plus an extensive check up for this old gal. Thank you.

Hi Pixie,

I highly recommend FV Hospital in HCMC. You can go online a select the doctor for the service you require.

I have used them several times and always found their services excellent and very professional.

To see a specialist you do not require a referral from a GP. Just make an appointment with the specialist directly online.

On your first visit, you will register with the hospital when you check in. You will then be issued a registration card issued almost immediately.

For any following visits, you get asked for your registration number (I carry the card they issue) as they will now have your details.

I live in Vung Tau, about 2.5 hours drive from the hospital. Recently I required further treatment and they went out of their way to fit me in on the same day. Of course, this isn't always possible.

As an Aussie, their prices are about 25% of what I would have to pay in Australia.

Hope this helps.

Hi @Safepeter cheers for your speedy response.  I have read they are on the pricey side and was hoping to have my teeth sorted too. But the essence is checking on my hospital injury's including a lot of painful mesh to repair the hernia that developed from their organ perfections. I think students would love to see my horrendous scars. Complete botched day surgery in our third world health care system. However I am thankful to have survived but have had little support since. I am glad to read for you that the hospital is so much less than the Ozzy cost. I gather it was MRI's there?
