Leaving with a TRC

I plan on leaving Vietnam without telling my company. My company has really mistreated me and I have decided to just leave them without telling them.
Is it okay if I leave Vietnam without surrendering my
TRC to the company or immigration, because I don't plan on coming back to Vietnam? And if there are reprocations what are they?
I really just want to leave Vietnam as soon as possible and I heard there could be fines for leaving Vietnam with the TRC and not returning.
Thank you.

Hi . The TRC Is yours so don't worry about leaving with it. I wish I was going too. Soon I will.
Why would you worry about it?  They can't fine you if you are living in another country. Immigration don't know you are leaving for good. Don't sweat it. Just leave and enjoy your life. Your not a prisoner here.
Too much misinformation floating around. Just leave, the VN secret police wont track you down and a red flag will not be placed on interpol.
They can't even keep track of genuine or fake TRCs so how could they possibly know if you have or haven't surrendered it.

Just out of curiousity.. what kind of mistreatment have you experienced here ?
Like everyone said - just do it!

Just don't come back or you'll be forced to pay back all the money you've earned for failing the spelling test...

Think about this.  If you don't bring your TRC to the airport, at the exit checkpoint the only thing you will have is the likely expired visa that you entered on.  With only that you will be facing a massive fine.   Not only can you bring your TRC, you must.

Im sure there is some regulation on this. Getting out without your TRC would require a trip to immigration before hand, that in itself could open up some problems.
