Planning on working in Vietnam this year!

As I make plans to move to Vietnam for great experience and cultural knowledge, I am looking to widening my network with people who have made the move, and those about to.

Kindly share tips on possibilities of consultancy work in hospitality or education.

Previously worked in a couple of universities in Saudi Arabia but currently back home in the UK.

Easier said than done... law dictates that e,ployers must first check to see if the position can be filled by a vietnamese national, if it cannot then they can look for foreigner.

There are many stipulations for gaining a wotk permit, but even that doesnt guarntee you will find work.

As often is the case here its who you know and not what yoi know, added to which vietnamese labor is cheaper and easier to find

Quite often people pay bribes to get jobs here, regardless if they are able or indeed qualified
