Cable TV in Vietnam

JVo18

I hope someone can help me before I go completely insane.

I'm not sure what cable package I have, but I'm assuming its one of the standard packages for expats. I get HBO, Cinemax, ESPN, ESPN HD and a bunch of others. However being a huge sports fanatic, the ESPN they have in Vietnam is not the same as it is in America. I ran into a couple people from America currently living in Vietnam who said they have some type of cable box that shows the EXACT same programs as what they were watching back in the states (every single channel) - travel channel, food network, FOX and CBS (which I would like because of american football this fall) etc. My problem is, I completely forgot the name of this cable box? I thought it started with an S, and for some odd reason, Slushbox and Slingo came to my mind (no idea why), so I googled both of those names and anything remotely close to it, but came up with nothing. Does anyone know what I am talking about? I'm currently home  in America for 2 weeks and wanted to come back with it (I dont even know how it works, or if its through the internet or what)

Any input or info would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

Oh I forgot to mention that they got this cable box or subscribed to this cable box back from when they were home in America, so if I wanted it, I would have to get it during the next 2 weeks that I'm here

In Singapore, there are a few people selling unlicensed / illegal cable boxes, which can watch all cable channels. Just set it up & you're done. I don't know if Vietnam sells that.
