How to select your ISP - Internet in Vietnam
anhkhi wrote:ok thanks... but why ?
There are quite a few reasons. Off the top of my head: attacking another member; giving out personal contact information (should use PM); self-promotion (should use Classifieds); being a troll; offensive language; political posts; insulting the government (we're all guests in this country, there's no need to be obnoxious about the host); using non-English language on English speaking forum (should use forums for other languages); purposely giving out misleading information; and spamming.
Off topic posts can be accepted or tolerated if it's related to the purpose of the forum even if it's not within the thread's specification.
OK. Sorry for asking, I wasn't used to that yet.

I have VNPT only because it was the only service in our area. Its crap, drops out, routers forever shitting themselves. Crap after sales service. Lost a job online due to their incompetence.
Viettel,FPT much better choices.

Viettel.. haha guess it depends where, I have lots of issues lately. Between 7pm and 11pm couldn't do any work. Lost loads of projects I was working on because of drop outs. Speed tests came back good but it was like going back to dial up days for anything uploading or downloading
Seems ok at the moment

Remember that there has been an issue with the undersea cable and every man and his dog is using the internet whilst restrictions are in place.

Well if we can get all the dogs offline from watching cat videos on YT then hopefully it will speed up
Not to attempt to defend. But as of late there have been issues we do not have on a day-in-day-out basis. One the undersea cable has broken ( yes this happens often) and most of the children on doing virtual online. I have always been happy with my provider. Bit now everything crawls to a stop. We might have to just live with it for awhile. The work I must do I do after midnight and it improves. Lived here 10 years and the undersea cable is a constant problem. Have no answers for that. In my mother country we never had such a problem. Yet we did not rely on an undersea cable. Guess we could all move back to where we came from.
J B36 wrote:In the 4 years, I have been here I had 6 months of FPT which was crap and the rest of the time VNPT and been more than happy with the service and speed which is currently around 200 Mbps or better 98% of the time. (Never had "shark" problems either) In the last 3 years no significant issues and service hell lot better than in the west where you could wait a day for some ********* to come out or longer. I think it really depends where you are as to the reliability of the service but overall I would recommend VNPT.
Hi - it would be useful if you could edit out the colourful language so the MODS don't delete your otherwise useful info

Oh, i can't wait. I didn't know that Aussies were experts in the English language. A lot of them can't even find their way out of #5 on Friday night without directions never mind know what Websters or Oxford is.
Up to you.
I was born in England and have both British and Australian passports so am well versed in both Websters and Oxford.

Looking at his other posts it seems English may not be his first language, lol.
I just Dashed back home after drinking JB to say the troll alert has been activated yet again

Be careful I just posted on heavy drinking in "news just in" 209 mg/dL
or as Jigs would say a "light liquid lunch"

It makes it easier if you use the "quote function" to direct your comments to who you are talking to.
Tip: You only have to post once for each comment you do

Yeah well Aussies are not exactly full of English are they can't even spell Beer XXXX and they don't know how to beat the All blacks either. Not really sure what they're good at starting fights in the bars and pissing off the frogs on crappy sub deals (well does anyone love the frogs) They do make a few nice wines and they claim they made the meat pie but that was stolen from us Kiwis.
I'm from England, but quite like the Aussies.. good weather, beaches, BBQ s, beer, nice friendly locals, great sense of humour if you know how to take a few ribbings in return... So what's your gripe with them?
This guy changes nationalities as much as a 20-dollar whore does tricks.
Mrdash: May I suggest that you close the tab on your browser after you post or otherwise exit Expat.com. That way you can stop the double posts. There are other ways but that is the simplest.

As the current Webster's is evolved from Daniel Webster's A Compendious Dictionary of the English Language, the first truly American dictionary, may we assume that you also speak 'Mercan.
