hahahhaha polygamy seems to be quite popular, despite not official permitted
As for warranty- it's a fine thing, however to claim it, make sure you can enforce it.

Warranty. I thought you were talking about getting a new wife for a minute.

It's just convincing them to come out and fix it. First call it's all "Okay, okay I'm coming to fix it now!" five minutes later "Can I just come by in a week and do it????" -_-
I'm impressed, quite often up here, ( especially with VNPT ), they will never give you a time, then when you inquire a few days later, they say, " they went to your house and you were not home ". Or they expect you to hang around home all day , and then not turn up at all.

That happened to us a lot at first, so now we make them come out that day or get someone else who can. We were changing locks on a unit and the guy said he'd be out Tuesday. Tuesday comes, he doesn't show, so we get someone else who will come out now. That guy calls Thursday and says he's on his way... We told him we found someone else since he was past fashionably late. He yelled at us and couldn't understand why we thought he wouldn't show.

Seems VNPT is irresponsible in your area. Actually I like the way FPT tried to fix my pc from far distance first when I called them while contacting VNPT is like announcing that my internet has dc and they will come tomorrow.I used FPT from their first developing days but after 5 years I am using VNPT. Not because VNPT or FPT is good or not but if you don't use cable, vnpt is still faster than FPT. I like the way they print useful information on the other side of the bill monthly. Until now I can't understand why I just pay lower than the price I registered while the speed is faster 2 times than on the contract.

It's taken VNPT 3 years to finally sort out my internet/cable TV, ( not surprising when you see the line hanging from tree branches, ( we only got concrete power poles in the last year ), and junction boxes uncovered and swinging in the breeze, one time they replaced the line from the road side pole to my house, ( leaving the old cable there still ), there would always be a little improvement for a few days, maybe even a week, if I was lucky, then it would get gradually worse, I'm sure they used to think I was only calling them to my house, because I was just a lonely Foreigner, many times they would come here and it would be fine, but they would never come when it was blowing , or raining of course, when it was at it's worst. The wife would say, stop complaining, it's because it is cheap, but it's not cheap if you couldn't watch it most nights, ( and the cable TV has doubled in price over that 3 yrs ).

Ow.It sounds strange..Do you use itv? There are some whole packets include internet+phone+cable TV from 300 000đ.

Yeah, Mark, they must use something like that in the tyres of those old bicycles they use for carrying stuff, ( the only mens bikes you see around here ), I usually smell them going past , there would have to be close to 200 kg of shit and straw on them sometimes.

VNPT has got us by the balls out here, no competition, I tried using VN mobile, using my Smartphone as a wifi hotspot, expensive way to find out VN mobile 3G doesn't work here, ( although it says on it's web internet coverage page that this area is covered )., I pay 160,000 for unlimited internet, ( but only 2.57 mpbs download, and 0.52 upload. fast enough for me, and 60k for MYTV.

Maybe that's why they were so much cheaper than everyone else?
Another time I had these Louvre windows made, when they arrived, everything worked upside down, ( like non European/Aus/NZ light switches ), also you couldn't fully open or close them, when I asked why I couldn't , I got the usual answer, " that's the way we do them in VN ', unfortunately I couldn't get through to him that I'd seen steel ones , and they opened and shut fully ????
Don't be fooled by the over confident attitude of many VN " tradesman ", many times they have never made what you want, so really have no idea how it works.
I have many bitter experience when I try to get an expert to fix something since 2008.
First I lost my brand new LG phone which I bring from my home country when it shows some minor problem. When I saw one mobile repairing shop, without a rethink, just give to that technician. After his 'experiment' it become worse and unusable. Another time I take my laptop for repairing.
When I go to collect it back, that guy told me that it fell down and broken. I thought he is kidding or try to cheat me but when I insist he show me the broken laptop which cannot fix any more! I wasted my energy and shout at him then. Finally I remove the HDD and checked it for final scope but failed! Motorbike 'technicians' are the worst ever I seen. Because of my busy schedule I didn't care my Yamaha and drive until engine ceased.
(engine oil finished and it produce some warning sounds but who care!)After repairing engine (I remember it cost me 2.5 million) I drove it one week without any problem. After that 'old sound' come back(actually CSGT should fine me for sound pollution!). Still I using that yamaha sometime along with my Shark!
I am not blaming all technicians. It's not easy to find out a good technician here because they are less in numbers!
PS: I forgot another important thing: I got a Peugeot Jet Force 125cc when I work for one Korean Company which my boss gave it to me. Sometime we drive together to eat out or some sight seeing. One day it shows some 'symptom' then I bring it ti the nearest workshop for repairing. He fixed that problem then somehow but after one week it come back and gave double headache to me. I bring it to show many 'popular' technicians in Q.7 and Q.1 but at last they cannot fix it properly! Anyway riding with that motorbike was very comfortable because of the seat
After that I tried many other motorbikes but never feel comfy like before. Later I understand that Jet Force model was a real pain for all of it's masters
though comfy ride!So that was 100k, and 45 minutes of my life wasted.
Actually my cases were not because of communication problem but the 'communication of their brain' too fast!!!
Really po tay with these kind of techies

Since then I've learned Viet for " dead ", which is appropriately " chết ", pronounced exactly the same way the condition of the keyboard was , ( Shit ). Sometimes it doesn't go down very well, when you point at something, and do the cutting the throat impersonation.
