Can anyone tell me what the electrical voltage is in Viet Nam. Also what type of plug it takes to hook up.

The VOLTAGE here is 220/240VAC.

IGNORE PLUG TYPE - the voltage is ALWAYS 220/240V (except in a very few remote locations)
