Question about Declaration of Temporary Residence?

Hi, I'm living in in HCMC and my company requires me to renew my temporary residency to renew my contract but the house I'm renting is not capable of doing that. Is there any service that can help me with this one (anywhere in HCMC is fine) since the only down side of this place is they can't do it. - @threatenbussiness

Is the reason for the property-owner/landlord being unable to register your staying there related to the subject of this thread?

The owner only needs to go to the Police Office of the District with you and put the signature, that's all... No need to show any contract or invoice, just go and say: he/she lives in my house and take your registration. In fact that can be done online as well .  Normally in their same facilities there is a Notary, ask for some notarized copies of your shiny new residence registration for all your current and future paperworks.

Now, sadly, many vietnameses are lazy or scared of paperwork, as lazy as 60% of bikers have a driver license 😉.   Better ask your company to share the contact of their agency who helps to do the Working Permit, etc...  they normally know or know somebody who knows how to help your landlord to do your registration
