Exchanging Pounds Sterling (GBP ) in Thailand

Does anyone know if there is any problem exchanging £50 notes for Thai Bahts in Phuket. We have always done this in the past as using these notes is less bulky than smaller denominations. I have heard rumours that it can sometimes be difficult.

With £50.00 notes you will get a better exchange rate than £20 notes. The only problem you will have with exchanging any notes is if the notes are damaged or have writing on them. Its best to go to your bank and withdraw the money and make sure the £50.00 notes are new crisp notes.
