my friend (british ) had a thai wife who died in England. Can anyone tell me how he can get a thai death certificatec for her. She had a thai passport.

First of all he needs the official death certificate. That certificate must probably be legalized, maybe at the Thai embassy in London and then translated to Thai. Most likely that translated death certificate must also be certified/legalized,but in Thailand.This is just a qualified guess, but this is the way it normally works. The Thai embassy in London should know but they are not very organised nor friendly.
