Following reports of fake websites claiming to be channels for registering the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) and charging foreign tourists a fee, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports has clarified that these claims are false. The websites requesting payment are not official Thai government sites, but scams exploiting the influx of travelers to Thailand for illegal gain.
TDAC registration, an electronic system for foreign visitors entering Thailand, is completely free of charge. Tourists can only submit their information through the official Immigration Bureau website at [link under review]
The Ministry urges tourists and the public not to trust any website or page claiming to act as an agent or requesting payment for TDAC registration. If you encounter such activity, please record evidence, such as the website URL, screenshots, or messages received, and report it to relevant authorities, including the Cyber Police Hotline at 1441, the Online Complaint Center 1212 OCC, or the Anti-Fake News Center Thailand, for legal action against the offenders.
The government, by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, prioritizes the safety and rights of tourists and will work closely with security and cyber agencies to track down and prosecute offenders.
