I had my PSA done here at the public hospital in Patong. 

I guess they did OK they took about a week for the results

to come back and it cost about 1000 baht.


I also had work done in this area at Bangkok Hospital

and of course it was quite a bit more expensive.

But there isn't the two or three hour wait to get in to

be seen it was only about 20 minutes. And I saw a

urologist and not just an MD. It just felt like he was

much more competent and I was taken better care of.

But I had a blood test done and urine test and it was

not cheap. But he was able to determine from that

that the reason my PSA was high was because I had

an infection so he gave me antibodies and he was

right My number came down.


It's certainly your call I wouldn't presume to advice

anyone on this area but if it's something that you're

worried about you may be best to see an expert and

pay more
