My name is Mumtaz Qarney from Pakistan Swedish citizen arrived in Bangkok last month & got recently multiple non-immigrant o visa on retirement basis for 15 months. I have a thai wife & lived together in Sweden & now in Thailand.
I would like having some suggestion to buy heart medicine somewhere in Bangkok. Those medicines I use regularly are extremely expensive to afford. Those medicines did not find in pharmacies & i have been to a private hospital to get prescription by a physician & then purchase those medicines for one month about 13000 baht.
Health insurance does not have coverege of existing diseases. I don`t have any solution do you have?
I´d be grateful to have some advice.

First, there's no 15 months multiple Non-immigrant O visa. What you've got (you paid for it) is a 90 days Non-immigrant O visa based on retirement + a 1 year extension based on retirement , a total of 15 months.

Second, every hospital in Thailand has their own pharmacy and private hospitals are the most expensive ones. They are after your money,period. 13,000 baht for medicine that will last one month is a rip-off.

Try a government hospital and see if the price will go down. I bet it will go down a lot. It might still be expensive, though. Bringing medicine from back home is always an option but you are by law not allowed to bring very much and it won't help you in the long run. Heart medicine isn't the kind of medicine you buy online, so you can forget about that,too.
