Moving to Krabi, where should we start ?

Hello

my wife and i ( retires ) wish to move to Krabi for 1 year as a new adventure. both outgoing and love thailand and the east in general, but prefer not to be in Patong etc. where so we start? rent costs for a 2 bedroom villa, I have private med aid, cost of living ? do i need a private vehicle or do i rent? what is the cost of a year visa ? i am south african and my wife is british - any advice would be appreciated thank you Paul and Jules

Any visa has it's own requirements and to stay here for a year you need a specific Non O retirement visa.


If you plan 1 year, don't buy just rent any asset.


2 br villa depends on location and quality but for 25.000 thb a month you should be good


Living is similar, depends on your choices. Thai can live from.15.000.thb some

Expats need 75.000 thb
