Hi,

can a foreigner buy property in South Korea?

If so, is it complicated? What is the process of purchasing a property in South Korea?

Any tips for buying property, such as a check-list of items to verify ?

I would love to read responses to this query! Actually I've been working on a project that involves buying land and renovating a traditional house to make a music center. When I started in 2005 with the idea it was possible and relatively easy for a foreigner to buy. But, I heard a rumor of some laws changing related to foreigners buying. Sorry to not be of much help at this point, but wishing you all the best with your venture!
