EP form - your declaration

Hi all,

I am applying a new EP, there is a point in the new EP form that I am confused that would like to ask for advise:

in the Your Declaration module, there is a question:

"Have you ever entered Singapore using a passport issued by a different country"? Yes/No

>> cos I am foreigner so of course I am using a passport issued by my country which is different from Singapore so I selected Yes

>> I dont know why they ask this, cos for those who are applying an EP, they must be foreigner.

really appreciate your advise, thanks very much

Hi I remembered I filled in the same form. I think it’s asking whether you have a 2nd passport apart from your declared nationality
Mark it as No...your understanding is wrong...they mean  are you holding dual citizen or changed ur citizen  etc
First up, what do you mean by ‘I am applying new EP’? You yourself can’t apply for an EP, usually done by employers or their designated agencies. Setting up your own firm? Even if you doing so, you would need assistance from local law firms/ business set up consultants who act as agents.

To your query now, that question on the application submission page means have you  entered Singapore with a different passport other than the one you using/ referencing in your application now?

Question- do you hold two passports? If no, just select ‘No’.

Hope that helps.
oops, thanks very much for your quick response. seems that I selected wrongly

I selected Yes that day and submitted to MOM. Cos I also had a doubt about that and did confirm an agency company before filled in, he said "what I was selecting is true and no worry"  :(:|

Haizzz, but anw, in the comment below for that module, I declared the reason I selected Yes for that is "I am foreigner, coming to Singapore to work". Hope MOM can understand my confusing. .......!
Thanks for your detail response, I declared the form and an agency company will use it to apply for the new EP.
