Singapore EP

MSP1983

Hi Friends,

My hiring employer in Singapore applied for EP on 4th Jan and 2 weeks later it was asked to upload all documents pertaining to education. I see latest status as EP rejected, however the hiring HR says "Do not consider the status seen online as we had to resubmit the application with the documents and he can check the status in a different platform and it is showing as Pending; hence do not consider the status rejected in platform https://eponline.mom.gov.sg/epol/PEPOLE … yAction.do " .

I'm confused, if there is a re submission then it should reflect the status pending if I search by passport number, correct?

Could anyone confirm if there are multiple ways to see EP status on a specific passport number?

You should try to search by FIN, not passport number!
(The FIN is issued a few days after submission and the employer is informed about it.)

The link which you have mentioned is the only link where the applicant can see the current status of his or her application. You can use your passport or FIN, both will give you accurate information.

If it’s showing as rejected then that’s the final status of your application.

Your employer can appeal with giving rationale against the reason of rejection (if MoM has given hints or employer can request MoM to provide). Without addressing the reason, won’t give fruitful response on appeal from MoM. Good luck
