When to resign?

morpheus2018

Hi,

I am currently in Singapore on an EP and have been here for over 5 years.
I am in the process of switching jobs and have just got my EP approved.
My question is: Can I resign from my current company in Singapore based on the "Approved" status shown on the MoM website? OR Is it advisable to wait for the IPA to come and resign only after I get the IPA?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

The IPA is issued at the same time or very soon after the online status changes. It is up to you whether you want to wait the few days until it arrives by post, or not.

Thanks for the response Beppi. I just received my IPA letter this morning.
