Importance of Academic Profile for EP Application

Hi all,

I'm an Indian citizen currently living and working in the UK. I work for Accenture consulting as an SAP consultant. I have 8 years of specialized experience in the field.

My company wants to transfer me to their Singapore office. I will be applying for an EP in the next few days.

I have a Bachelors in Computer Engineering from a reputed university in India. However, my academic performance during the course is not so great. All my certificates/transcripts and work experience is genuine. My work experience has been with 3 companies over 8 years, and all of them are well known MNCs like Accenture.

Would a bad academic performance influence the EP decision?

Thanks!

Academic performance does not matter, only the fact that you have a degree - which has to be from a school recognised by MoM, otherwise it counts nothing.
Hello beppi..St.Pauls School of business and Law can you check and tell me if its recognize by the MOM thanks..
Too lazy to check yourself?
Then nobody will do it for you ...
Thanks Beppi. I run the "self assessment" tool on the MoM web site. The university my degree is from is listed there. So, can I assume that my degree will not be an issue, as my documents are genuine?
Lorelyn, try the self assessment tool on the MoM website. If your uni is listed there, it should be recognized (unless it has been de-recognized since then).
The self-assessment tool is usually correct and up to date.
Thank you solman79....God bless!
