Nationality: Pakistan

Age: 36 Years, Single

Education: PHD degree in Electrical Engineering from South Korea (5 Years)

Job Sector; Manufacturing

Pass Type: S Pass (3 Years in SG already)

Race: declared as "others" in the form but received a message from "ICA" that since your nationality is "Pakistan" can we indicate your race as "Pakistani". I agreed and said yes.

Any chance of approval? Looking forward to answer.

I can't say man, what' s in ICA's  mind; your profile looks decent;

but we are curious about your application; let us know if you get any update from ICA

You will be counted either under "Indian" or "Others", both of which are not the "preferred" race for PR.

You did not mention any volunteering or social activities, which also count.

Being single is of course a minus and three years in SG is quite short.

Why does a PhD holder only get S-Pass? Is your salary so low?

Muhammad; Based on my information it is quota based immigration and not very friendly with Pakistani origin - Others also include lots of other people around the world.

Out citizenship application rejected with all the ticks while others approved on left/right with low income and lower qualification.

Are you in a role which required a Phd with higher income bracket?

Best of luck
