Moving to Singapore on S pass - Medical Requirement

How strict is the medical check-up requirement for an S Pass? I have been asked to appear for a medical check-up and be declared "fit for work" before my S Pass can be issued here in Singapore, and then I can formally start my work.


Context: My S Pass on the MOM website is valid, and the IPA is approved.

If MoM has declared a medical checkup necessary, then your S-Pass can only be issued after successfully passing the checkup.
