What is Healthcare like in Baguio City and Manila. And do they accept American insurance policies I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and I am a retired federal employee. I lived in the Philippines from 71 to 74 while I was in the military also.

Yesterday, I read this on this forum : in the Philippines, clinics ask you to pay before they provide care, even if you have health insurance. So you have to pay the bill and then you have to ask your insurance to reimburse you for all or part of it.
