Hi, does anyone know where the best money changer is in Davao City proper to exchange Canadian $$$?

Unless you never plan on going back to Canada again hang on to them and use a Debit card at an ATM. Much better exchange rate.

The problem is the girlfriend is in Davao with Cdn $ but the money changers won't give her more than

41 pesos to the dollar - even Western Union gives 43.

Only a question marydarcy but why not simply send pesos direct to the ladies account here in PH?

If she already has Canadian dollars in her hand then take the loss and lesson learnt, better for some to send Pesos as I have done for 11 or 12 years and works perfectly.

Another question? what exchange rate do you/her expect?

The Canadian Dollar is only worth about 74 cents per US Dollar, so that 41 pesos is not out of line.
