SALARY & ALLOWANCES:

SPECIALIST :US$ 2000- 2500 (Depends on Qualification and Experience)
RMO:US$ 800 - 1000
NURSE : US$ 300 - 400
PHARMACIST:US$ 300 - 450
LAB TECHNICIAN : US$ 300 - 400

Food & accommodation will be provided
Staff insuarance will be provided
Visa fees will be paid by the center
Return airticket will  provide on completion of a year for annual leave
Annual leave 1 month and Emergency leave 10 days.

I want to do some job in maldives..salary range between 3000-4000 dollars

Hello, I am Dr Adil.
Dr. Pervaiz, me and my friend are also considering moving to Maldives. But i have read many negative reviews, especially by those who are posted in far away islands. Now i am confused. Also agents say that you have to pay 100$ processing fee, 800 dollars on landing and 1500 dollars for work permit, so i have to spend nearly 2500 dollars to reach Maldives.

I have few question. Can i get your email address? so that i can send you my CV and also i can get your guidance.  if it is not possible, then can you answer me that if i and my friend go there can we be both posted in the same hospital?

Dr.Fawad I am working as a doctor and if you are planing to move as a medical officer you can't find a job with this much salary. Mobthly savinh of a medical officer is 1500$ plus minus 100.

Dr.Adil i am a doctor from lahore working under ministry of health..
First tell me you want to come maldives ad consultant or medical officer.. If you want to move as a medical officer you should have 2 and half year exprrience after house job if you have i can guide you to further process and guide you for reliable recruittment agent.. Agent from maldives costs round about 1500-1800$ and process takes 1 month to 45 days.

Aoa... Average salary of a medical officer is 2000 dollars and consultant 3000 to 3500 and expenses round about 500 dollars...

Hi.i am dr.md.i got an job offer and approal from moh maldives.salary 1915$ basic salary.service allowance,food and housing allowences extra.i am confused how much salary I am goining to get.i read lots of negative riews in internet.i am confused whether to go or not Maldives. People says we cant our salaynto our country completely and there are limitations.my position they told associate orthopaedic specailist grade4 and I am posted in Thinadhoo island Maldives. Please can anybody who r already working in advice should I go or not.now I am in India earning almost the same income with an differance of 50000/-inr.thanks.

There will be no cases of trauma any sort of fracture is reffered to IGMH male'.. No surgeries if you want to come and sit here welcome to maldives.. But for surgeon it is wastage of time...

In maldives quality of life is below average.. Isolated life, shortage of things even sometime you have to wait for the boat more than week if something is not available at shops.. You should be a better cook because on most of the islands there are no hotels and if are they are costly to afford daily 3 time meals..

No i dont know about thinadhoo... There is no income tax or ant deduction...  I am working in Addu city..

You have to buy dollars and transfers through monry exchangers like moneygram, western union etc...

That is we have to buy in black that is a for the cost more than its market value.
I think some money loss.

Guys I am a Medical Officer working in India. I've completed MBBS from China. Already have 2 years and 6 months exp. Can anyone tell me English language test requires or not?

I complete MBBS from Bangladesh want to go Maldives. can u help me to find a job.

The better option for the doctors MBBS and specialists is to stay in own country if they're already working in there no matter what is their salaries. Coming to Maldives will be a big loss for ur future even present qualification, money is no longer going to stay with u.but the time is precious which u will not get again once it's lost .if u want to move and want really to become better in life I will suggest u to stay in own country or try for a good country where u can gain something. Working as a doctor in Maldives is same like u r working as local medical shopkeeper..u will not become anything in life between these selfish and uneducated people.

Yes I agree with you some of Indian doctors are very rude with Pakistanis specially but they act like slaves with locals. I am a doctor from Pakistan .many doctors working before me has very bad experience because of a rude idiot Indian doctor.

Yes it's absolutely correct local s behaviour wit foreign doctors is very rude I also have same experience.

Why do doctors work for a salary like USD1500 or USD2000? This is really low, sorry to say. I would not even think of working overseas, away from family, for peanuts.

Anyways, the quality of service is also low........but you get what you pay for.

Well, i have been to the Hulhumale Hospital a couple of timesand met 3 Pakistani Doctors there. All of them seemed to be perfectly satisfied with their job, one of them has been here for 6 years ! So i don't think the working conditions or the renumeration is bad for Doctors ! Moreover, your lifestyle and how you get treated depends pretty much upon you, not the place where you are based. I have lived in a Desert in Saudi Arabia for 2 years, and enjoyed every part of it.
I do agree with Waseem that Experienced professionals shouldn't accept a low salary.

My dear, just because of a few people you can't generalize a whole country ! I have met many competent and professional Indian Doctors.
