Although not needed immediately, you should look into cost of schooling for your daughter. I think it probably starts at age 4 and the cost can be very high and the medium is English in international schools.  There is an Indian school in Brickfields which may offer other languages.

Thank you Gravitas... And also please suggest me on savings method.

You need to look at schools near to where you work and plan to live to estimate how much you need to cover schooling. I have found the cost of living is rising quite fast in Malaysia, so perhaps negotiate a salary increase in line with retail price index or another calculation so your salary is inflation-proofed. If you are used to running a car, you need to factor this into your expenditure. I have noticed that others on the forum have rejected the first offer and been made a better one.

surya, where is ur workplace? location. this will b ur benchmark for all sorts of planning and saving techniques.

dear Mr.Sarma,

you did not mention the place of your work. If it is KL(kaulalumpur)or surrounding, then your salary will be barely sufficient for you. you will rent a house coz you are moving with your family. you may struggle to make both ends meet. so the question of saving doesn't arise at all.
If it is other area then you can live with your family and also can save a reasonable amount in Indian currency.

Some guidelines of when schooling starts at international schools in Malaysia:

Year of Schooling # 1 (Nursery)

Average Age of Students  3 -> 4

Year of Schooling # 2 (Reception)

Average Age of Students  4 -> 5

Year of Schooling # 3 (Year 1)

Average Age of Students  5 -> 6

Hope this is helpful.

Schooling is in Engish so adequate language skills will be needed to enrol and benefit from the classes.  Schools often provide support to students to get up to speed.

If home schooling is not an option then there are kindergartens which offer preparation, activity and skills.  Typically these Early Childhood Education Programs are:

Kinderplay Program for children of 2 years old
PreNursery Program for children of 3 years old
Nursery Program for children of 4 years old
