Affordable school in KL

A.K.M Shahidul Islam

Hi, i am planing to move to KL in next month with my family and i am finding it very difficult to select a good Int. school. In fact i have 3 children (13 years - 12 years and 7 years). I am looking for an affordable school since i have 3 children. My budget is 20 to 24k per Year per children. Can anyone pls suggest me few options..

Thanks

At that price no, it means a substandard poor education.

Surely your employer should pay? Or reconsider moving.

Hi! I'm in the same boat as you. One 13 year old. I'm thinkin' there MUST be a solution. It's impossible that so many expats who live here ALL have this problem!

Hi, I think it may be worth looking at your employment contract. Anyone who asks me about moving to Malaysia, I advise that children's education is a huge factor. You'd want a good quality education, however it's expensive. It may be worth talking to your employer and maybe also looking to see if any scholarships are available.

A good website to look at is educationdestinationmalaysia.com

The school my children attend costs up to I think 35k per term. A friend mentioned one in KL that costs approximately 15k per term. Both are international schools.

20k per year may be difficult

A good school following IGCSE syllabus with fees of RM16K to RM20K annually.

My two kids go there. They do a good mix of academic and non-academic activities providing a well-rounded education.
