Cancellation of first stage of EP and re-apply with other company

I am working in IT company in Malaysia, and I was recently finished my contract with my employer.
I got contractual offer from other company and they applied EP online and provided acknowledgement letter to proceed EP cancellation with my pervious company.

Now I got other permanent offer from leading MNC
can i accept that offer and can I request my current employer to cancel my stage1 EP and acknowledgements
and can my new company re-apply for EP stage1 and get acknowledgement letters

please kindly advise.

Hi,
I am also in the exact position, however, I already accepted the new offer. My HR said she will contact with MDEC and will reply. So I am just waiting for her reply. I will let you know about my case if you got any updates please inform.
